Technical Support Representative

Term: 6 Month Contract (full-time hours).
Position: The Technical Support Representative (TSR) has direct contact with our customers via telephone, e-mail and face-to-face (via walk-in service). Successful applicants will possess superior communication skills, customer service experience, technical expertise, computer skills and be able to thrive in a fast-pace work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot customer related technical issues for cable television (analogue, digital, high definition, on demand, etc.); internet (wired and wireless); home & business phone services; home & business security systems.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and related Internet software including Internet browsers, e-mail clients and network configuration using tcp/ip.
- Knowledge of our products & services.
- To respond to questions in a professional manner and to book service calls and installations (where required).
- To be able to work independently and also in a team environment
- To work shifts, including weekends in a 24/7 technical support call centre.
